| The Piper Seneca evolved out an attempt to build a 3 engined Cherokee Six. It first flew as a two engine development in 1966 with 180 hp, but later on had 2' added to the wings, a large tail and more powerful engines. First sold in 1971, the Piper Seneca Max Takeoff Weight was increased by 200lbs in 1973. |
